Yesterday was the last day of Mental Health Month and it concluded with a shining example of what it means to prioritize one’s mental health. Bravo to Naomi Osaka for speaking with such candor about her experience with anxiety and depression and for having the courage to do so in such a high-stakes, public forum.

The decision she made is an exceptional example of how interconnected our physical and mental health are and how powerful honoring that relationship and talking about it openly can be.
