LTU's Construction Safety Research Center, founded by Ahmed Al-Bayati, associate professor in the LTU Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, is tackling construction safety gaps that put workers, bystanders and communities at risk. 🚧

On May 19, industry and community leaders gathered at LTU's Southfield campus to discuss research-backed approaches to construction safety and hear from featured speakers from MISS DIG 811, CNA Insurance, Carhartt, AGC Michigan, and the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
