On its 80-acre campus in South Carolina, Sherman offers a professional degree program unique in its approach to health care and known globally for the skill and art of chiropractic

Coffee, kittens, and community? Count us in. ☕🐾

The Sherman Bookstore hosted its very first Cat Café today, bringing together authentic Cuban coffee, cozy vibes, and the adorable spring kittens from the Spartanburg Humane Society. Guests enjoyed a purr-fectly relaxing morning filled with cuddles, conversation, and plenty of kitten love.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to sip, snuggle, and support adoptable pets in our community. We think this meow-velous event may need to happen again soon. 🐱💛

🏆 Dr. Tomasello, Sports Outreach Coordinator for Sherman College of Chiropractic, congratulates our chiropractic partners at University of South Carolina Upstate on an incredible NCAA postseason journey!

The Spartans baseball team captured their second consecutive Big South Conference Tournament Championship with a dominant 8–1 victory over Longwood, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and a trip to the Tuscaloosa Regional. We also celebrate the USC Upstate softball team for an outstanding NCAA Tournament appearance, highlighted by impressive wins over Belmont and Southeastern Louisiana before battling the nation’s No. 1 seed Alabama in the Regional Final.

Your dedication, resilience, and championship spirit continue to make the Upstate proud. Sherman College is honored to partner with and support such outstanding student-athletes and programs every step of the way. 💚

Following his tenure as president of Sherman College, Dr. Koch joined the Palmer College philosophy faculty in 2001, and in May 2002, he was named vice president for professional and international affairs for the Palmer Chiropractic University System.

Koch earned his Diplomate in Philosophic Chiropractic Standards (DPhCS) in November 2005. In January 2006, he was appointed professor of philosophy in the Division of Chiropractic Sciences of Life University’s College of Chiropractic.

Koch has lectured and written extensively on chiropractic philosophic themes. He lectured and wrote extensively on chiropractic philosophic themes, as well as the reinterpretation and modernization of chiropractic’s traditional metaphysical paradigm.
