It is with great sadness, we share we have lost two of our sisters.

Today, we honor the legacy and cherish the memories of Philo Dobbie Williams and Philo Elretha Wade.

Philo Williams was a charter member and dedicated Philo of Xi Sigma since 1975. Philo Wade was a member and dedicated Philo since 1995.

Both of our sisters were a true beacons of service and sisterhood. Their warmth and dedication touched so many lives within the Spartanburg community and their legacies will continue to inspire us all.

As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate the beautiful lives they lived and the impact they had on those around them. Please keep their family, friends, and our Philo Sisterhood in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

On this day of remembrance, we honor the lives lost, the families impacted, and the first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage on September 11, 2001. We will never forget.
