Dr. Harbin’s “Rise of the Machines” Special Topics English class examines the human fear of technology and automation in literature and film. Dr. Harbin’s students recently finished watching “Blade Runner: The Final Cut”, in which they were able to cover how technology has affected human interaction and intellectualism, particularly as it relates to the contemporary issue of rising artificial intelligence. 👾🌐

Special topics courses such as “Rise of the Machines” further the innovative nature of our LAS students and will help prepare them to make informed decisions navigating a world increasingly dominated by AI.
