As multiple wildfires continue to impact the Spokane region, where Moody Aviation is located, Dr. Tim Sisk, Provost and Interim President of Moody Bible Institute, shared the following update:
"Many of you are aware of the devastating wildfires affecting the Spokane area, where more than 1,000 homes have been destroyed and many families have been displaced. We are grateful to report that Moody Aviation, Felts Field, and our new Woodbee Apartments remain safe, and fall classes began as scheduled. We continue to monitor the situation closely and are supporting our faculty, staff, and students as needed. We thank the Lord for His faithful protection over our Moody Aviation family. As stronger winds are forecast this weekend, we ask you to join us in praying for God's continued hand of protection over our students, faculty, staff, and the entire Spokane community. Please pray that the fires would be contained, that those serving on the front lines would be granted wisdom, strength, and safety, and that the many families who have lost homes would experience God's comfort, provision, and peace. Above all, may the body of Christ be a tangible expression of His love during this difficult season, and may the name of Jesus be honored and glorified through our prayers and our care for one another."
