It's been so amazing to see where the class of 2026 grads are headed. We know you'll do great things!

We're rounding out the celebration with Amlan Barik who is headed to Chicago, Illinois for an inaugural Clinical Operations Fellowship at AbbVie!🎉

Here's what Amlan had to say about WSU:

❔ Do you have any advice to share with future students?
"Ask professors about their journey into pharmacy and if they can introduce you to colleagues to build a network. The Coug pharmacy alumni are always willing to give back to students. "

❔ What is your favorite thing about WSU?
"The friendships I made while in class will indubitably last a lifetime. If you are reading this Alex - I couldn't have made it without you!"

Meet your future health care providers! Maddie Britain is staying in Spokane, Washington for a PGY1 Residency at Providence Sacred Heart Pharmacotherapy Clinic! 🎉

Here's what Maddie had to say about the match and WSU:

❔ What was your reaction when you matched?
"I was so excited! It felt really rewarding to see my hard work throughout pharmacy school pay off and to have this opportunity to continue developing my skills through residency."

❔ Do you have any advice to share with future students?
"My advice would be to try different things, get involved, and take advantage of opportunities like clubs and internships. Have you heard? 90% of 2026 WSU pharmacy graduates seeking a residency through ASHP matched! Nathan Taylor is remaining in Spokane, Washington for a PGY1 Residency at Providence Holy Family Hospital! 🎉

Here's what Nathan had to say about the match and WSU:

❔ What was your reaction when you matched?
"I was ecstatic to learn that I had matched and that it was a program that I was so excited for like at Holy Family. I had a wonderful IPPE [Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience] rotation there and then worked as an intern for two years which gave me ample time to see the incredible work that is done there and get to know the amazing pharmacists and technicians who work there."

❔ Do you have any advice to share with future students?
"Everything might seem overwhelming at times during school, rotations, applications, and interviews. The important thing is to work hard, take it one step at a time, and trust that it will work out as it should. You can only control what you can control!"

❔ What is your favorite thing about WSU?
"The school spirit and friendly atmosphere at WSU is something that initially drew me in. I have been at WSU (Pullman and Spokane) for 7 years and I wouldn't have changed my experience at all. We had a great time together as a class throughout our years of pharmacy school both inside and outside of the classroom."
