Spokane Colleges took over Avista Stadium last week. Our student athletes owned the night at the Spokane Indians game. Softball threw out the first pitch, women's soccer, and track and field were also present, rally towels went out to fans, and yes, that is our logo rolling around on a concrete mixer.⚾

Thank you to the Spokane Indians for having us!

We'll be back on September 4 for Military and Veterans Appreciation Fireworks Night, and students, employees, family, and friends can still get a discounted rate here: https://bit.ly/4hswAZN

Thank you to the team at Travelers Insurance!

Yesterday, a Travelers employee heard that SFCC was helping people affected by the fires. They came to campus, met with our Basic Needs team, and saw a way to support both Basic Needs and the New to You Boutique.

They came back that same afternoon with a van full of supplies and a group of volunteers.

Student employees and staff at the boutique carried the boxes in and sorted every item. The donation was split three ways. Part stayed in the boutique. Part is headed to Colville later this week. Part is going to SCC for students there.

SFCC students, the New to You Boutique is in Building 2, Room 001, in the library basement, open 9am to 3:30pm. Questions go to [email protected].
