Wanting to see Myers Hall return to its original red has been on the hearts of alumni for decades. Three alumni now share why they chose to support this project, which is now 93% of the way to completion.

“When the campaign was announced, I jumped on the opportunity to help. Thank you, Wittenberg, for listening to alumni. I look forward to Myers Hall being restored to all her beauty!” - BJ Gallatin ’76

“I lived in Myers my freshman year. It was, and may still be, the most iconic building on campus. The orange color is not attractive, so I gave to restore its status and appeal. Please join me!” - Bill Barton ’71

“We chose to support the campaign to “Restore the Red” because if there’s one building on campus that symbolizes Witt, it’s Myers Hall. It “was” the college in the early years. When you see pictures, posters, booklets, or videos from Wittenberg, they all almost always include Myers Hall. It may have even established red as one of the two school colors. While I never lived in Myers, it occupies a warm spot in my heart.” - Steve '67 and Carol Hirt
