From Hospitality Leadership graduate to shaping one of the world’s most iconic destinations, MSU alum Allison Glass is now Manager of Events & Services at San Francisco Travel Association.
Before stepping into her current role, Allison built her early career in San Francisco hospitality, including time at Hotel Nikko San Francisco, where she focused on high-end events, catering, and room sales.
Her foundation was shaped in the Hospitality program through immersive learning opportunities like the Hospitality Leadership Wine Tasting, paired with mentorship from faculty including Dr. Wolfe, Professor Bekebrede, and Professor Bonczyk. Together, those experiences helped refine her passion for hospitality and prepare her for the pace of the industry.
Allison's advice to current students is simple: stay open, say yes as often as possible, and remember that intention is most powerful when it’s paired with action.
