Library Mission Statement

The mission of Thomas Library is to provide resources and services that meet the information needs of the Wittenberg University community. The Library will make available information resources that support and enhance academic inquiry at Wittenberg and will share these resources with the broader scholarly community as appropriate. The Library will help learners master the use of information resources in order to facilitate education at Wittenberg and to enable and encourage lifelong learning. We shall always love thy groves
And thy classic halls;

Time flies fast away;
Soon our happy college days

We're proud to partner with to bring you a reading challenge in honor of

Read one of the books in the Clark County Public Library’s or New York Public Library’s recommended list and tell us what it meant to you as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Multiple entries permitted. Open to all Wittenberg students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Winner will be notified by email in January 2027.
