This summer, a few Missouri State University counseling graduate students traveled to Cologne, Germany, with faculty members Dr. Yasuko Kanamori and Dr. Jeffrey Cornelius-White. The trip gave students valuable career experience while exposing them to a new culture.

They explored how communication plays a key role in counseling and learned how to approach different situations through a counseling lens.

Experiences like these help MCHHS Bears take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to the world beyond campus!

This summer, 14 Missouri State University students got to study away in Anchorage, Alaska, with faculty members Kelly Dudley and Stephanie Mitchell Urich.

Students learned about food insecurity and indigenous culture.
