At Missouri State University, SOAR (Student Orientation, Advisement and Registration) leaders, including several from MCHHS, help new students navigate campus, connect with advisors, build class schedules and get a clear sense of college life.

The OPHI - Ozarks Public Health Institute at Missouri State University is taking the lead on the Community Focus Report, moving it from a biannual publication into a continuous, community-driven program people can use year-round. Commencement marks a proud milestone for every graduate. 🎓

For MCHHS, the banner represents the college’s students, mission and shared achievements.

On May 8, Allie German will carry the MCHHS banner and lead the college procession at Missouri State University commencement, honoring her academic excellence, leadership and service. Congratulations to Allie and the other six nominated students.

Some foods that seem healthy may be more processed than you expect. They contain ingredients not typically used in home cooking, such as emulsifiers, stabilizers, flavor enhancers and added colorings.

Missouri State University registered dietitian Dr. Daniela Novotny shared with Martha Stewart that foods like flavored yogurts, plant-based milk and frozen breakfast sandwiches are often ultra-processed. They can still fit into a healthy diet — just check ingredient labels and consider quick, healthier swaps.
