Spotlight on Astrine Foyou, Pharm.D. ‘06🌟

Astrine joined the Alumni Council in 2024, stating, “As a 2006 Alumnus, I feel compelled to be a source of knowledge, experience, and wisdom for fellow alumni, especially recent graduates and students.”

Now a Clinical Specialist Pharmacist in St. Louis and a former program instructor at the university, Astrine is dedicated to empowering students and fellow alumni through mentorship, sharing her insights and guidance. Her vision? To leverage her experiences in community and managed care to strengthen community involvement, highlight the importance of networking, and provide an international perspective to the UHSP family.

Spotlight on Jerry Callahan ‘75 🌟

Jerry joined the Alumni Council in 2024 after completing his term on our Board of Trustees, stating, “This school allowed me to achieve a lot. It gave me a great education, and because of that, I give back. I want people to have the same opportunity as I had, and even more.”

In addition to owning several pharmacies in Missouri, Jerry is dedicated to helping pharmacy business owners succeed and improving patient services. As a lifetime member of the Mortar & Pestle and 1864 Giving Societies and a former preceptor at the university, he is passionate about giving back to his alma mater and preparing students for bright futures in pharmacy. His vision? To help young pharmacists become successful business owners while making patient services more affordable.
