What a joy to welcome our new students and their families to our campus at last week's welcome reception, hosted by the President and faculty. Would you join us in praying for these students as they begin their studies?

During the lunch hour on select Tuesdays and Thursdays in the fall and spring, Covenant Seminary invites experienced ministry practicioners to host lunches on campus for students and their spouses. Exposure to a variety of ministries from around the globe helps families prepare for Kingdom work.

Here's a look at this month's ministry lunches. Guests include USAF Chaplain Lt. Matthew Scheibel, Rev. Jim Hatch of Mission to North America, Revs. Mike Wenzler and Keith Berger of RUF: Reformed University Fellowship, and MTW missionaries Kurt and Jill P.

"The history of American Presbyterianism reflects broader tensions within the American experiment with liberty."

In this article at byFaith Magazine, our own Dr. Drew Martin examines the historical relationship of American Presbyterianism with the institution of slavery through three themes:

Covenant's RUF: Reformed University Fellowship Intern Preview Weekend is a Friday–Saturday experience designed to give RUF interns a taste of life in seminary.

Are you an intern considering pastoral ministry, counseling, or long-term work with RUF? Join us November 13–14 and see why so many RUF interns choose Covenant Seminary each year.

The PCA is approaching an important question: How will the denomination raise up enough qualified pastors to serve its churches, plant new ones, and lead growing ministries in the decades ahead?

In this conversation, Rev. Derek Radney of The Alliance for Mission & Renewal speaks with Dr. Tom Gibbs, President of Covenant Theological Seminary and Dr. J. Ligon Duncan III, Covenant alumnus and Chancellor of Reformed Theological Seminary, about the challenges and opportunities ahead—and how the whole church can work together to prepare pastors for a lifetime of ministry.
