Are you 18-40 years old and interested in participating in a study about liver health?
Janis Stoll, MD and Samuel Klein, MD are conducting a study to determine whether a ketone ester drink helps improve liver health.
You may qualify for the study if you are:
• 18 to 40 years old
• Have a body mass index (BMI) of 25 to 49.9 kg/m2
Participation includes:
• Screening visits including medical screening, blood tests, and MRI imaging
• Body composition analysis to assess total body and liver fat
• Metabolic studies to assess sugar and fat metabolism
• 2 overnight visits
• 6-week intervention period where participants will either receive the ketone ester or placebo supplement
The study lasts 3-4 months and up to $1,200 is provided for time and effort in the study.
