ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT! Danielle Feinstein graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.
Current position:
By day, I’m the Assistant Executive Director of The Bach Society of St. Louis and by night, I sing with a variety of organizations around town including The Bach Society, Caroling St. Louis, and Music at Christ Church Cathedral, to name a few.
Recent accomplishments:
In August, I was in Union Avenue Opera’s production of Samson et Dalila. In June, I presented a lunch-time recital on Christ Church Cathedrals concert series along with alum Connor Scott (Bachelor of Music Education, 2016). Earlier in the spring, I joined Moxie Contin’s Midweek Microdose, a drag variety show, for an all-Sondheim cabaret as well as performed at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild on The Bach Society’s program, Clearly Human, based on the exhibit.
How did your time at Webster and your vocal performance degree prepare you for where you are at today?
I am very blessed to put my vocal performance degree to use nearly 7 days a week. The friends I made during my time at Webster continue to be my primary collaborators and the variety of opportunities I had at Webster, from Chamber Singers to Opera Studio to Jazz Singers, helped me develop my versatility that keeps my schedule full.
