Next week! Don't miss the Gwendolyn Peiper Endowment for Music in Medicine Concert.

Celebrate the healing power of music at the fourth annual Gwendolyn Peiper Endowment for Music in Medicine Concert on Thursday, Oct. 22. Presented by the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and the Department of Visual and Performing Arts music program, the evening will celebrate the connection between music, wellness and community.

The celebration begins with a reception at 6 p.m. with performances commencing at 6:45 p.m. The event takes place at the Learning Resources Center Pitlyk Auditorium (1402 S. Grand Blvd).

About the Program: Featuring performances by talented SLU undergraduate and School of Medicine student pianists, this complimentary annual concert was established through the generosity of Stephen C. Peiper, M.D. (Med '77), and Zoe Wang, Ph.D., to honor the memory of his mother, Gwendolyn Peiper, a beloved St. Louis piano teacher.

The Theatre & Dance program is presenting a staged reading of ALL IN THE TIMING: Six One-Act Plays by David Ives.

The reading takes place this Saturday, October 10 at 7 p.m. in the Xavier Hall Main Stage Theatre.

David Ives’ beloved collection of comedies combines wit, intellect, satire and just plain fun. All in the Timing encompasses falling in love to existential crises – and everything in between. Directed by Nancy Bell.

Admission is FREE and open to the public!

MEET THE TEAM: Nichole Goebel 💛

Without stage management, there is no show. Nichole keeps the show running smoothly as ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER.

Nichole is a sophomore majoring in Theatre and minoring in Music. This is her third production at SLU; you may have previously seen her in Trojan Women or How Much Is Your Iron for Immediate Theatre, or backstage as a dresser for Macbeth. Nichole is very thrilled to get to ASM for the first time with such an amazing team and would like to thank everyone for all their support.
