*HALLOWEEN UPDATE*
Due to concerns around potential crowding and gathering, we unfortunately will not be distributing goodies centrally at the 3 locations (EVGR, Rains, and Munger). Instead, we have reached out to CA's to distribute GSC's treats to their residents. If you live on campus, please look out for an email from CA's at participating residences for more information on when and where you can pick these up.
For those of you who don't live on campus, GSC wants to help provide social support. We know finding adequate social support is challenging during covid but it's also more necessary than ever. We would love to hear any feedback you might have about how we can help with your needs, and we're open to brainstorming together too. Otherwise, we are excited to have some really fantastic balloon decorations at the 3 locations (check out this link to an interactive map: https://custom-maps.stanford.edu/view//Maps/26564) on Saturday, that all grad students are welcome to drop by and take photos of/with throughout the day--- again, please maintain distance, wear your masks, and don't gather. You can stay tuned to our Instagram account for updates (maybe check the balloons out virtually before checking it out in person if you don't believe us 😉).
We also continue to invite you to post a photo of yourself in costume this weekend wherever you are (across the globe, in your campus apartment, in your childhood bedroom, at a balloon decoration, anywhere!). Tag on Instagram to be entered into a raffle for 10 $25 gift cards. Take a photo at all 3 locations and you'll be entered 3 times! Don't forget to caption your costume with what you are (unless it's obvious). We look forward to your scary, punny, and/or classic creativity!!! Happy Halloween!
