Meet Gabrielle Edelin, 🎓

A history and psychology double major, Gabrielle spent her Stanford years building lifelong friendships, serving as class president, and deepening her commitment to community and public service.

From teaching introductory psychology to interning in Congress and museums around the world, she’s explored how history and human behavior shape the world — and how she can shape it in return.

“I’m trying to give back to the people who have poured so much into me,” she said.

Moments from Stanford’s 135th Commencement ceremony.

More than 20,000 attendees, including 3,600 graduates, filled Stanford Stadium this morning to celebrate the Class of 2026 with Wacky Walk, student performances, academic and service awards, and an address by Sundar Pichai, MS '95, CEO of Google and Alphabet.

"You have thousands of moments ahead of you. The important thing isn’t to get them all right; it’s to find a way to keep moving forward," Pichai told graduates. "Now, go out and set your heart ablaze!"
