Asia Pacific Medical Humanities & the Arts Summit

What does it mean to stay human in medicine?
Join scholars, health care workers, artists, educators, and others from across the Asia-Pacific region for a virtual gathering exploring the intersections of medicine, narrative, ethics, technology, and the human experience.
Rather than a traditional academic conference, the Summit is designed as an intellectual “commons,” a space for short, engaging contributions and conversations across disciplines, perspectives, and regions.

We are proud to announce this year’s annual Medicine & the Muse Student Symposium, a celebration of the many artistic, literary, musical and other creative scholarly talents at the Stanford School of Medicine by students, trainees and faculty, and a special performance by the Stanford Medicine Orchestra, comprised of Stanford Medicine and Stanford Health faculty, staff, students, alumni and family members.
