The annual MSU Deer Lab deer health workup took place this morning. Scientists and students immobilize the deer, take multiple measurements, vaccinate, and remove antlers in the captive deer unit.

Congratulations to alumni fellow Nate Irby of Eagle Lake. Irby earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in forest products in 2006 and 2008, and his doctorate in forest resources in 2019.
