GWIS volunteers made magnetic slime with middle schoolers as a part of STEM Day at YMCA of Centre County , an event organized to get middle schoolers interested in STEM. We interacted with hundreds of middle school, home school, and cyber school students in the area. Overall, it was a success! Our activity was one of the most popular activities of the day based on student engagement. The students were interested in the activity itself and the science behind it. We were invited to repeat the activity at future events by several of the teachers.
