Another incredible year is in the books as we celebrate the success of our Poultry Science Club Banquet! 🐔
We are so grateful for the continued support from our alumni, parents, students, and industry partners, your encouragement and involvement make both this event and our club truly special.

During the evening, we had the honor of recognizing four outstanding members for their hard work, dedication, and passion:

• Highest GPA in the Poultry & Avian Science Minor: Madison Angstadt
• Most Active New Member: Cora Musser
• Most Active Member: Alexandria Neff
• Presidential Award: Hannah Anderson, for her exceptional leadership this year

We are also excited to welcome our new executive team:
President: Evangeline McGargle
Vice President: Alexandria Neff
Treasurer: Makayla Keller
Secretary: Kara Brown

Finally, we extend our sincere thanks and best wishes to our graduating seniors and outgoing executive team: President Hannah Anderson, Treasurer Kieran Schug, and Secretary Rylie Dubbs. Your leadership has left a lasting impact on this club.

Join us tomorrow, 12/3 in 118 ASI to welcome back Perdue Farms’ Mike Levengood!🍗

Dinner starts at 5:30, with the meeting to follow at 6:00

Mike has been with Perdue since 1984, working his way from flock adviser to serving as the company’s Chief Animal Care Officer and Farmer Relationship Advocate. He oversees poultry welfare, biosecurity, and grower relations, and has served on national industry boards including US Poultry and Egg Association and the National Chicken Council.

If you are interested in the poultry industry, careers, or learning from someone who has seen it all, this is a meeting you won’t want to miss!

Shouting out the beautiful faces behind this whole operation. Our Poultry Science Club members have been putting in the time and effort to keep turkey harvest running smoothly. They show up every year ready to work, and it always reminds me how strong this group is. These photos only show a small part of the energy they bring, but the work they put in behind the scenes is what makes everything happen.
