What an amazing experience at the 2026 AANA Annual Congress!
This year was extra special, with 10 out of 30 students from our class making the trip—the largest group from a single cohort yet!
It was such a great experience getting to attend alongside classmates and future colleagues. From educational sessions and workshops to networking with CRNAs, SRNAs, and leaders from across the country, we had so many opportunities to learn, make new connections, and grow in the profession.
Our cohort represented A-State so well! Students received scholarships and even showed off their skills in some friendly competition—including a win in the Speed Challenge!
We also had students serving as AANA Social Media Ambassadors, attending the Annual Congress for the very first time, and even introducing a speaker during one of the conference sessions. We also loved running into some former A-State students and seeing our A-State community represented beyond our current class!
We even had the chance to visit the historic Ether Dome, where the first public demonstration of surgical anesthesia was documented. It was so cool to stand in a place that holds such an important piece of anesthesia history!
And of course, we made time to explore Boston! From historic sites and Acorn Street to Fenway Park and other Boston favorites, we got to experience the city, learn a little history, and have plenty of fun along the way.
We’re so proud of how our class showed up and represented A-State on a national level. We’re grateful for the experience, the memories, and all the opportunities that came with AANA 2026!
