Hiking the Appalachian Trail is no small feat, as alumnus Kevin Remillard ('10) knows. ⛰️

The journey was 2,197 miles, and he says every step was worth it. “The trail changed my life and really saved my life...There’s a saying out there that the trail provides, and it certainly did so for me."

Along the thru-hike, Kevin learned important lessons about finding balance with work, family and the benefits of getting outside. He was recently featured on an award-winning podcast, where he shares about his struggles and how hiking provided some perspective for him. 🤔

Kevin graduated in 2010 with a BBA in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the Georgia Southern University Parker College of Business. He hiked the entirety of the trail in his favorite Georgia Southern hat. 🦅
