With 26 years as a certified athletic trainer and a distinguished academic career across Vanguard University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Nova Southeastern University, Steve has dedicated more than 14 years at Georgia Southern shaping the next generation of athletic trainers.
A respected educator, clinician, and leader, Steve has been instrumental in advancing athletic training education—guiding program growth, navigating accreditation and degree transitions, and ensuring students receive exceptional, real-world preparation. His impact extends nationally through service to professional committees, peer review, curriculum development, and scholarly work.
Known for his commitment to both teaching and clinical practice, Steve continues to model excellence in the classroom, in research, and in the field. His dedication, leadership, and character have left a lasting mark on students, colleagues, and the profession as a whole.
