Registration Opens Soon for the Youth Horsemanship Clinic at Tarleton State University!

Join us on July 11-12, 2026, for a two-day clinic designed to help youth riders build a strong foundation in horsemanship skills that apply across all riding disciplines.

Participants will focus on essential horsemanship fundamentals while gaining hands-on experience through drill work, pattern ex*****on, and competition preparation.
-$100 per participant
-Lunch provided both days
-Open to youth riders of all experience levels and disciplines

A little late in posting but welcome to the family. Our final baby of the year "Maya"! She is a beautiful bay filly by Fiddle And Steel 🎻and out of Nic A Little (Nick It In The Bud X Lil Bit Of Pepto). This is our first Fiddle And Steel and we are in love!💜

Summer 2026 Internship Opportunity !

Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch is seeking interns with strong horsemanship experience to help lead scouts through overnight camps in the Davis Mountains. This is a unique opportunity to combine riding, leadership, and outdoor adventure in a hands-on summer setting.
Interns will work one camp per week (5 total camps), guiding and supporting campers while managing horses in a backcountry environment.
📍 Davis Mountains, Texas
📅 June 7 – End of July
💼 Paid position + housing provided

Ideal candidates are confident horsemen, responsible leaders, and ready for a physically active, outdoor-focused experience. A supplemental application will be sent after submitting the initial form.

McKibbin Performance Horses is looking for interns who are serious about developing their horsemanship skills, specifically in team roping horses. Interns will gain hands-on experience in management, daily care, training, and sales preparation—building a well-rounded foundation in the performance horse industry.

Baby #4, "Hoss",💪 a sorrel c**t by CR Gotcha Covered and out of Royalty Diamonds (One Time Royalty X Hicks Little Diamond). We really love the CR Gotcha Covered babies! They are pretty, strong and good minded.

🌟Finally, the first and so far only filly made her arrival!🩷 Welcome to the world "Whinnie"! This pretty bay filly is by CSR Dual Glo and out of Catalina Whiz Mania (Banjo Whiz X Cowboy Mania). She needed a little assistance but Dr. Martinez and the class had it covered!🌟

⚡️This is our first foal by CSR Dual Glo and we couldn't be happier with the results! A very big thank you to Marshall & Lezlie Wier for their generosity and support of our students and program‼️These hands-on learning opportunities are invaluable to our students!
