Why Wednesday 💗
I wanted to join Sigma Alpha because I wanted to be surrounded by girls who shared the same interests, love, and passion for agriculture that I have. I wanted to find a sisterhood where I could be myself, grow, and make friendships that would last. Since joining Sigma Alpha, it has taught me so much about leadership, friendship, and becoming a better version of myself. Every meeting, social, and event has given me memories I will always cherish. My journey has been nothing short of amazing, and I am so thankful and blessed that I chose Sigma Alpha. In just one short semester, this sisterhood has brought me some of my best friends and helped shape me into who I am today. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without Sigma Alpha and the amazing girls who make it so special.

Introducing our fellowship committee ✨
This committee is responsible for all things sisterhood! Tailgates, socials, sisterhood meetings, and all things homecoming! 💗

Committee Head: Ashely Osborne 🎀
I wanted to be Fellowship Chair because I wanted to grow more as a leader while doing something I truly enjoy. Planning and putting on activities is one of my favorite things to do, and I wanted to use that passion to create fun opportunities for our chapter. I also wanted to build stronger connections with my sisters and help create a positive and welcoming environment where everyone feels included and connected.

This position has truly been so rewarding while also keeping me on my toes. I have learned so much about the importance of staying organized, being responsive, and remaining positive when plans do not always turn out the way I originally planned. This position has taught me patience and how to make sure everything that needs to get done gets done, while also learning to trust my committee and chapter to step in and help when needed. I have grown not only as a leader but also as a sister, and I am grateful for the experiences and memories this position has and will give me.

With this being my last semester as an active member of Sigma Alpha before I graduate, I truly want to leave my final mark on this amazing organization. I want to make the most of my remaining time and give back to a chapter that has given me so many amazing memories, friendships, and opportunities. At the same time, I want to make sure my committee is set up for success in the upcoming months and that I leave behind organization, ideas, and resources that can help the next Committee head succeed. I love this committee so much, and I feel incredibly blessed to have been given the opportunity to serve in this role. I am excited to make the most of my final semester and continue creating memories with my sisters.

Service has always been something I’ve enjoyed being a part of, so when I had the opportunity to take on Service Chair, I knew it was a position I wanted to be involved in. I wanted to help create more opportunities for our members to get involved while also supporting organizations and causes in our community. Being in this position has given me the chance to meet new people, try new things, and find different ways we can make an impact outside of Sigma Alpha. I’m looking forward to making service a bigger part of our chapter this year and seeing where it takes us!
