Tarleton Upward Bound One of several TRIO programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in pre-college performance and ultimately in higher education pursuits. Tarleton State University's Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a Bachelors degree who are preparing to enter postsecondary education. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rates at which participants enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.

Behind every student is a story of growth, determination, challenges, and dreams waiting to become reality.

Watching our students grow in confidence, overcome obstacles, discover new opportunities, and take steps toward their futures is what makes this work so meaningful. Every milestone, big or small, reminds us why we are here. 💜

We are more than a program; we are a support system, a community, and a reminder to our students that they never have to navigate their journey alone.

Once TRIO, always TRIO. Your future is worth investing in, and we are proud to be part of your story.
