Tarleton Upward Bound

Tarleton Upward Bound One of several TRIO programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in pre-college performance and ultimately in higher education pursuits. Tarleton State University's Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a

Bachelors degree who are preparing to enter postsecondary education. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rates at which participants enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.

As our summer program comes to a close, we're taking a short break from social media for the next few weeks.

To our students: thank you for making this summer one to remember. We hope you take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the remainder of your summer.

To our seniors beginning their college journey this fall, we wish you nothing but success as you take this exciting next step. We know you are going to do amazing things! Remember that no matter where your path leads, we will always be cheering you on and will always be here to support you.
