Easter is the central proclamation of the Christian faith: hope is stronger than despair, life is stronger than death, and love is stronger than sin.

The Resurrection reminds us that the story of Good Friday was never the end of the story. What appeared to be defeat was, in fact, the beginning of new life.

This message is not only theological—it speaks deeply to the human experience. Many people carry burdens of suffering, loss, anxiety, or discouragement. In those moments, it can be difficult to imagine that renewal is possible. Yet Easter reminds us that transformation often begins in places that seem most hopeless.

At Divine Mercy University, we are committed to forming psychologists and counselors who recognize this profound truth about the human person: that healing, growth, and renewal are always possible. When scientific understanding of the mind is joined with a deeper understanding of the dignity and destiny of the human person, we are better equipped to accompany others on their journey toward wholeness.
