Exciting changes are underway at the College of St. Joseph the Worker! Thanks to a generous donation, demolition has officially begun on the empty lot at the center of campus. The abandoned space is being cleared to make way for a beautiful, welcoming green space for visitors, students, and townspeople in the heart of Steubenville. Keep an eye out for more updates!

It’s a sunny day here in Steubenville, and the freshmen’s first house is looking amazing! Sophomore electrician Theresa B. is helping guide the freshmen as they wire the new home.

Local iconographer Kai Yep presented his recently completed set of the Stations of the Cross in Seraphic Hall. He discussed the direction of contemporary iconography, starting with the most basic question, “What is an Icon?”

This quarter, Freshman Joe H. spent his Monday afternoons teaching local students car maintenance and repair at the Sycamore Center!

I would like to give a shout out to Joe Hardy for teaching our Automotive class at Sycamore this semester. He taught students how to fix and perform maintenance on cars with our MS students each week. God bless you, Joe. We at Sycamore really appreciate it!

💙🏛️ A downtown revival is happening in Steubenville!

Right next to St. Peter’s Catholic Church and Steubenville High School, the historic Logan Apartments are being brought back to life — transformed from long-vacant spaces into beautiful student housing for the College of St. Joseph the Worker. 💙

In this video, Mike Sullivan takes us inside the renovation to show how these historic buildings are being carefully restored while gaining a brand-new purpose for today’s students.

What was once forgotten is becoming a place of growth, community, and opportunity — and it’s happening right here in our own downtown.

Students held the first College of St. Joseph the Worker Ball this month, filling Seraphic Hall with live music, and dancing! Sophomore Patrick E. taught dance lessons in the 4 count swing and American Waltz: “And David danced before the Lord with all his might.” 2 Samuel 6:14
