Kappa Kappa Psi celebrates Pride Month! We celebrate and support those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Pride Month is celebrated in June to commemorate the Stonewall Uprising. On June 28, 1969, police raided the Stonewall Inn, a popular gay bar on Christopher Street in Greenwich Village, New York City. The raid was met with retaliation from the patrons, staff members, and surrounding communities. One year later in 1970 the first Pride Week and Parade took place on Christopher Street, organized by New York activists.

We want to come to your campus! Kappa Kappa Psi has been investing in our leadership programming. "Kappa Kappa Psi Leadership Development & The Founders Circle", is for Director of Bands with chapters, and for those intertested in learning more about Kappa Kappa Psi. Join us for an overview of our programming and example workshop presented by Dr. Kirk Randazzo, Professor of Leadership Studies at the University of South Carolina and Past Fraternity National President. Learn how Kappa Kappa Psi can help develop your college band members!

Today, Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country, and we recognize the families who carry their legacy forward.

Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day was formalized in 1868 through a Memorial Day Order issued by Grand Army of the Republic Commander-in-Chief John A. Logan. In 1971, Memorial Day officially became a National Holiday, ensuring that generations to come would continue to reflect on the sacrifice made for our freedom.

We honor their courage, their service, and their lasting impact.

National Headquarters will be closed today in observance of Memorial Day.

Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma are excited to attend the CBDNA Athletic Band Symposium! We are looking forward to connect and showcase our organizations.
Wednesday, May 27th at 2:30pm, jointly presented by Dr. Nic Rorrer, Allison Leemann, and Dollie O'Niell, as they discuss updates to chapter paperwork, and updates for 2026 for Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma.
Thursday, May 28th at 10am, presented by Dr. Kirk Randazzo. A detailed overview of our student leadership programming, highlighting how we can help develop student band members.
