Museum visits, lectures, interactive class sessions and taking in the city of Cambridge are part of our daily activities. Cambridge is such a hub of knowledge expansion!

Our official welcome evening, complete with a group photo near Pepys Library and formal dinner by candlelight in the College Hall, is always a highlight. We have a wonderful group and enjoyed a very fine evening at Magdalene (pronounced Mawd-lin), one of 31 colleges that make up the University of Cambridge and our host.

On our first full day we spent the morning in our beautiful classroom, located just under where author C.S. Lewis lived from 1954-63. In the afternoon we visited the Cambridge History Museum, opened in 1936, a space that previously served as a pub and farmhouse. The contents of the musem bring the daily experiences of people from Cambridge and the Fens to life. We enjoyed a hands-on workshop investigating and brainstorming what uses and time periods certain items were from. History came alive!

The 2026 Cambridge Scholars Program is underway! We are thrilled for the course The Era of the World Wars taught by OSU history professors Dr. Matt Schauer and Dr. Sarah Griswold. It's going to be a great two weeks!

Congratulations to Atalie Sherman, Katelyn Powell, and Cody Moss, 2026 Udall Scholars! 🎊🎉
The Udall Scholarship honors the legacies of Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall, whose careers had a significant impact on Native American self-governance, health care, and the stewardship of public lands and natural resources.

Atalie, Katelyn, and Cody are three of only 18 Scholars selected nationwide in the Indian Country categories, and this is the seventh consecutive year at least one OSU student has been recognized by the Udall Foundation in Native Healthcare or Tribal Policy.

Congratulations, students! We are so proud of your accomplishments! 👏👏👏
