HTM Student Highlight: Sarah Willingham!

Sarah is a Hospitality and Tourism Management major who spent her summer as a Group Sales Intern at Lone Star Park Horse Racing Track in Grand Prairie, TX!

During her internship, she gained hands-on experience in ticket sales, event planning, and vendor coordination. She worked closely with the Group Sales Director, used industry tools like CaterEase and VBO Tickets, and helped execute events such as Christmas in July, engagement parties, and corporate celebrations.

Here at OSU, Sarah is making her mark — serving as HR Manager for Planet Orange, Chef Event Wine Chair, and Hospitality Days Industry Relations Chair. She’s also a proud member of CMAA, Eta Sigma Delta, and Alpha Chi Omega, with multiple leadership roles!

We’re excited to see where her journey in the hospitality industry takes her next! Have someone we should highlight? Let us know!
