Oklahoma State University Army ROTC cadets put their leadership to the test this summer at U.S. Army Cadet Command Advanced Camp, and the program's performance stood out nationally.

Among 292 programs, OSU Army ROTC ranked No. 20 overall, No. 3 among Big 12 programs and No. 1 in the nation in leadership performance.

For cadets Emma Saxe, John Lewis, Lucy Stuteville and Hector Fino, those results were built through weeks of physical challenges, field exercises and leadership evaluations at Fort Knox.

On Friday, Sept. 18, the OSU Alumni Association honored Vincent Logan and six others with the OSU Distinguished Alumni Award.

Vincent Logan graduated in 1979 with a degree in political science.

Vince's career began at the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General after graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He went on to serve in the Antitrust Division, U.S. Department of Justice, in Washington D.C.

He is among a distinguished fraternity to have held two distinct presidential appointments, serving the country first as special trustee for American Indians and later ad the Farm Credit Administration's board chairman and CEO. Vince has built an accomplished career in the private sector in New York, both as a lawyer and as an investment advisor.

He has also held positions with the OSU Foundation Board of Directors, the U.S. Department of the Treasury and has been a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
