CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!

We invite you all to celebrate our Graduate level scholars! Each of these students spent dedicated years of their lives to pursuing education at its highest levels and have accomplished their goals!

We have enjoyed having each of you as members of our department during your time here, and we are a little bit sad but a lot proud to see you go!

You have all invested so much into yourselves and your futures, and now it's time to go out into the world an begin shaping it.

Congratulations to Anna Ramsay on receiving her Honors Cords from Dr. Cro!

Anna received the General Honors Award, which is represented by her green and yellow honors cord. The General Honors Award is earned by completing 15 credit hours of honors coursework while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Of those 15 hours, 9 fulfilled the program’s breadth requirements, including 3 credit hours each in the humanities, STEM, and social sciences, in addition to completion of an Honors Seminar.

Kudos to Katie!

Sociology/Anthropology undergraduate, Katie Gamblin, presented her Wentz project findings on Friday, April 17th. Her research focused on projectile points collected during OSU's 2024 field school at Chancellor Ranch in SE Colorado directed by PaleoCultural Research Group. Under the auspices of a Wentz fellowship, she conducted further data analysis of the points collected during her internship with PCRG in Longmont, Colorado in the Fall of 2025.
