Students in the OSU Department of Biology's Field Botany course recently visited The Nature Conservancy's Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in Osage County to explore the incredible diversity of prairie grasses and meet some of the charismatic animals that depend on them!

Congratulations to Biology graduate students Nimalka Weerasuriya (advisor: Dr. Bachelot) and Kit Guirin (advisor: Dr. Gilbert) who were College-level finalists for the 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.

Nimalka took first place and will advance to the University-level competition, while Kit earned an honorable mention!
