The Stony Brook Veteran Student Organization (VESO) is an official Stony Brook University club for veterans, military personnel, dependents, and students who support them. VESO's primary objective is to create a campus wide awareness of the immense contributions that Veteran Students make to our Stony Brook community. VESO aims to bring issues relevant to veteran students to the forefront. With th

e help of its membership, we intend to continue the history of service and commitment that veterans are known for. VESO is an official chapter of Student Veterans of America, a coalition of veterans groups on campuses all around the world. We are sponsored by the Undergraduate Student Government, and we are not affiliated with any outside organization. This Facebook group and our e-mail list are now our primary sources of contact and for distributing information about our events. We also have a Twitter page, as shown in our page description.
