Stony Brook Cantonese Club - CTC Established by a group of passionate Cantonese students, CTC aims to instill traditional and modern Cantonese culture into the campus community.

The mission of Stony Cantonese Club is to increase the interaction among students through various activities, such as general body meetings, club events. Where club members can meet regularly to create their own networks and have more attachment with the club. Our aim is to increase awareness and understanding of Cantonese culture.

We got our very own DANCING πŸ’ƒ WITH THE STARS ⭐️ thanks to Phoebe here πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Like the star βœ¨πŸ’« that she is πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ she’s always SHINING on stage 🀩 whenever she BUSTS A MOVE 🀯πŸ’₯ as entourage for any pageant or dance that the club has πŸ‘ΈπŸ»πŸ‘‘ which we are SO thankful for πŸ™‡πŸ»β€β™€οΈ This girl literally can learn the moves πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ« in less than πŸ”Ÿ minutes and picks things up SO QUICKLY ⏱️ which shows she’s clearly a level above us πŸ“ˆ when it comes to shaking it up 😼🌠 Her moves also expand to TAEKWONDO πŸ₯‹ but she stopped in the 5th grade πŸ‘ΆπŸ» Like the IDOL that she is her makeup is literally UNMOVABLE πŸ’„πŸ’‹ and she pops out with her little pink tote πŸ’“ the cutest hair accessories πŸŽ€ and earrings πŸ’Žwhile her outfit always SLAPS πŸ‘—πŸ‘‘ so PLEASE teach us your TIPS and TRICKS πŸ™πŸ₯Ί When she’s not busy being PERFECT πŸ₯°πŸ‘Œ she’s a walking MANHUA πŸ“– and CDRAMA library 🎬 and you can find her bussing down a salad at SAC πŸ₯— at the speed of a TURTLE 🐒 a piece of lettuce at a time πŸ₯¬ slurping buldak 🍜 playing her cats and soup game that she’s at a crazy high level in 🐱πŸ₯£ or NEVER because she’s a homebody ❎🏑 But here’s a piece of advice 🀫 stay INSIDE if you see her behind a steering wheel 🚘 because she’s failed her DRIVING TEST πŸ›žπŸ“ a little too many times πŸ˜₯ Her DRAWINGS are super duper cute ✍️🎨 and we can’t wait to see more of what she comes up with too πŸ‘€πŸ–ΌοΈ Our HYPER GIRL πŸ€ͺ may be quiet at first 🀐 but she is so SWEET 🍭 and a YAPPER πŸ—£οΈ when you get to know her πŸ₯Ή so don’t be intimidated if she doesn’t say hi first πŸ‘‹ she just has bad eyesight 🧐 Have a BLAST πŸš€πŸ€© being 1️⃣9️⃣ and eat lots of CAKE for us cutie πŸ°πŸŽ‰

RA at Keller for THREE 3️⃣ WHOLE YEARS (he just loves it there I guess πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ), grabbing his go to meals from Ms.Kim πŸ₯° at Jasmine, working shifts at SAC β˜•οΈ, and somehow still finding time to chill at Tabler. You could also catch him lifting at the Rec πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈbut whatever you do, DON’T ❌ hand him a basketball πŸ€ unless you want to watch him miss every single shot πŸ™ˆ

Oh, and yesβ€”that was him in Mr. K 2022, fully committed as Finn from Adventure Time πŸ—‘οΈ 🐢 .

Fuzhounese by background, but somehow knows Cantonese…kind of🀫. He swears he’s fluent… but we’ve heard the evidence πŸ§β€β™‚οΈ. He always pretends to be chill πŸ™„ but let’s be honest, this guy is the definition of chalant.

During his time here, he also held it down as our Event Coordinator 😱 for 2024 ‼️Big presence, bigger personality 😎 campus just hit different with him around 😩
