Our UConn CEIN students put their knowledge into practice in the simulation lab, working together to resuscitate a simulated patient. Each scenario helps build clinical skills, confidence, and the teamwork essential to nursing care.

On September 11th, Elisabeth DeLuca School of Nursing’s first Urban Service Track (UST) Learning Retreat of the academic year.

This year’s retreat focused on "Bridging Health and Community: Interprofessional Collaboration for Shared Impact Across Every Zip Code." Along with the UST Nursing Scholars, we welcomed UST Scholars from UConn School of Medicine, UConn School of Social Work, UConn School of Dental Medicine, UConn School of Pharmacy, Quinnipiac's Physician Assistant Program, and University of Saint Joseph's Physician Assistant Program. The UConn Elizabeth DeLuca School of Nursing joins our community and nation in reflecting on the strength, compassion, and service shown on that day and in the years that followed.

For Xiomara, it’s the opportunity to turn her passion for helping others into a meaningful career. Inspired by her early experiences in health care, Xiomara chose UConn Nursing to combine academic excellence with real-world learning as she works toward her goal of becoming a pediatric rehabilitation nurse. ✨
