Faculty member Tutita Casa has been named the 2026 Dr. Perry A. Zirkel Distinguished Teaching Award recipient! Dr. Casa teaches in the Integrated Bachelor’s/Master’s teacher preparation program, specializing in elementary mathematics education, and is known for the impactful learning opportunities she creates for her students.

Thanks to the generosity of 525 donors, the Neag School of Education won a University-wide leaderboard challenge during UConn Gives 2026 and received nearly $70,000 to support students, faculty, and community initiatives. Thank you to all who supported the Neag School this year!
