April 27 - May 1 Swarthmore is recognizing Survivors through various events, activism, and initiatives. Survivor’s Week was honored annually at Swarthmore for many years, but fell off in the 1990s. This year, the GSC, in collaboration with other campus partners, is reviving Survivor’s Week. Although the founding of Survivor’s Week was created with sexual violence in mind, our renewed Survivor’s Week honors those individuals who have experienced all forms of harm, including sexual, homophobic, racist, and other identity-based violence.
