Wednesday, May 6 is going to be a very busy day for performances, and you’re not going to want to miss any of them! We open the day with the conducting showcase with the students in Prof. Martha Grener’s class showing off their conducting skills and also featuring the OCC Wind Ensemble. This concert starts on Wednesday, May 6 at 12:20pm in Marvin and Schuh Recital Hall (Room P100).
This is followed by the OCC Jazz Ensemble, led by Prof. Joe Carello. This incredible group who learns all of their pieces by ear using no written scores, will be playing in the Rehearsal Room - P112 starting at 3:30pm tomorrow (make sure you come for this performance in person since there will be no livestream available).
Finally, in the evening on May 6 second-year piano student, Park Kammer, will be presenting his sophomore recital! His amazing program will have piano pieces by Bach, Haydn, and Chopin, just to name a few. Check out his recital starting at 7:30pm in Marvin and Schuh Recital Hall (Room P100).
