SHPE at Syracuse University Welcome to Syracuse University's Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) Chapter! Here you will find our most up-to-date information on all events.

Follow us on instagram ! The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1974 by a group of engineers employed by the city of Los Angeles. Their objective was to form a national organization of professional engineers to serve as role models in the Hispanic community. The concept of Networking was the key basis for the organization. SHPE quic

kly established two student chapters to begin the network that would grow to encompass the nation as well as reach countries outside the United States. Today, SHPE enjoys a strong but independent network of professional and student chapters throughout the nation.

Please help us raise some funds! We are having a Krispy Kreme fundraiser, form below:

We are having this fundraiser to raise money to support the events we put on every semester and to be able to send our members to our national and regional conferences.

We will be selling the donuts by box and each box contains a dozen original glazed donuts. It will be $8 a box when preordering and $10 a box when you buy at the table. The location of the building is TBD.
