Students of any level, alums, members of our wider community, faculty, & friends – join us on Tuesday, October 6 from 6:30-8:30pm in Hall of Languages 214. for the first in our series of monthly evening colloquia. These colloquia will enable us to learn more about one another's scholarly work, engage in conversation around shared topics of interest, and build community!

During each colloquium, we will gather together for a potluck dinner (pizza will be provided as the main dish, but please consider bringing a dessert or side dish to share!), enjoy casual conversation, and then begin our evening's program. Each program will consist of workshopping a sample of recent scholarly work, pre-circulated by that evening's featured speaker. The speaker will then introduce their work and invite feedback and critical comments on it.

Our first speaker will be Linden Smith, and we’ll be discussing the Introduction to his dissertation! Hope to see many of you there!
