It is not to late to register for the Dawg Dash tomorrow! The run is tomorrow morning, Saturday May 21st, at 9 AM. Sign up today at the University YMCA student center or tomorrow before the event.

Great news!

The Running Club will be adding three more run times; we will now meet at 11am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as well as our original 6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We will still be meeting across from the W, on Jefferson Ave and S 19th St.

Hello:

Exciting news for the Running Club! We have been featured in this week's copy of the UW Tacoma Ledger, check it out!

This week and for the next following weeks we should have a pretty consistent schedule! We are looking to host runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday @ 6 PM at night. We will always be meeting at the W. We may be adding a Wednesday run as well either midday or night run so stay tuned.

Some of our runs will include a Stadium High School Loop, a Tacoma Dome Loop, and a Waterfront Loop. We have mapped out approximately five runs so far which can be accessed via our Dawgden:

We are still looking for a few more officers/run leaders that are looking to be a part of creating and sustaining one of the most exciting and motivated clubs on campus. Hope to be running with you all soon!

The Running Club @ University of Washington Tacoma is working hard to get various distance runs organized, we are hosting runs weekly Monday, Tuesday and Thursday @ 6PM.

The 2015-2016 Running Club Route Page has been created. This is a secret group for safety precautions for our runners. We will be posting all future route information via this page. Hello everybody, we are going to be starting our weekly runs this week! For safety reasons we will not be posting publicly where are routes will be beginning via public browser. We will soon be creating a separate page, which will be a closed group. This page will still be used to let the community/people know what we are accomplishing, stay tuned for exciting updates, amazing community benefits, and a new and improved connectedness at the University of Washington! The first actual run completed by the Running Club @ UWT- Costume Run. For this run, we established a relationship with Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and were able to get 30 new costumes for the children currently ill/hurt in the Hospital for this year's Halloween! Not only are we a club based around having fun, we are looking to benefit our community as college role models/difference makers to provide children and different aspects of the Tacoma area with better opportunities for happiness! This is our first collaboration with the Hospital and hopefully the relationship continues to grow this year and years into the future!
Go Dawgs! Unfortunately, we did not have a camera present during the run or the Swiss Hangout, but the event was an absolute blast!

The Running Club @ University of Washington Tacoma was designed for students to have an amazing place to connect, unlike anything the campus has ever seen before. For the first even in campus history, we provided pizza, giveaways, water pong, football, just tons of different aspects tailored for students to have a place to relax and meet some new friends. We are not solely based on running, yes we are a running club and will be exploring some amazing spots as the year progresses, but ultimately we are just a group of friends looking for the opporunity to connect with new people that the school currently just doesnt provide. Check us out! We are now up on dawgden, but I invite you to personally message me through this page or my page(Brandon Foster), to inqure about future event ideas, details of the club, how you can become an active officer and help us throw amazing events for years and years to come. It's just the beginning, Go Dawgs!
