University of Puget Sound Maroon Society Our mission is to facilitate and encourage the interaction between students and alumni at Puget Sound

Our Short Term Goals Are:

1) Promote awareness and visibility of Maroon Society
2) Instill incentives to apply and value of membership
3) Solidify mission statement and written procedures

Our Long Term Goals Are:
1) Prepare students to be active participants in an alumni network
2) Establish a foundation to have some type of interaction between alumniand students twice a month. We are comm

itted to meeting alumni in three main ways:

1) Group Tours- Going on tours of companies that different alumni work at.

2) Organizing Events - Putting on events that draw both the current students and alumni together. This year that includes the Alumni Ultimate Frisbee game and the Logger 5k during homecoming weekend.

3) Attending Alumni Events - We often attend various events that the University puts on for the alumni.

The SAA is grateful for our Logger alumni who truly show that Once a Logger, Always a Logger. We have had Logger alumni reach out with offers to help students in need.

Current students, if you need help please use this page to request assistance from alumni.

If you are a student who has a request for help please comment on this page.
Such as:
• Needing a place to store your on-campus belongings
• An internship due to loss of a work-study position
• Or other requests

If you are an alum who has capacity to help, please comment on the student’s request.
Such as:
• Additional space in the garage to hold a student’s belongings
• Connections for an internship
• Or other offers

Our next exec spotlight is Lindsay Marshall! Lindsay is our Off Campus Coordinator. As part of this role she plans company tours, dinner with alumni, and other off campus networking events. Outside of Student Alumni Association she is a psychology major and sociology/anthropology minor and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. DM us to learn how you can get involved in our exec board!!

Calling all artists!!! This winter Grizz Gang will be bringing the spirt to our Logger Athletic events! As part of this spirit squad, we are designing t-shirts. The shirts will have the Grizz Gang logo on the front, and your class year on the back (This is where you come in!). We are looking for students to send in designs for their "Class of _____" part of the shirt. If you are interested feel free to DM us questions or desgins. Today marks the start of our Meet Our Exec Team spotlight series! Our first spotlight is one of our two amazing Co-Presidents Cas Almond! Cas joined Student Alumni Association to learn more about different job opportunities and career paths after graduation. Cas is a first-year student who is also involved with Crosscurrents and Elements on campus. So far Cas has enjoyed meeting alumni and learning about their time on campus.
