Welcome, Dr. Zach Cooper, to FSU College of Social Work! 👋

Dr. Cooper joined our faculty this fall as an assistant professor. His research focuses on developing behavioral health interventions for integration into healthcare settings to better address the management of chronic and co-occurring conditions.

“My work aims to optimize behavioral health interventions and improve access to integrated care models through rigorous implementation and dissemination strategies."

Alumnus Dominic M. Calabro (MSW' 79) was recently awarded the Frederick P. Greenberg Lifetime Achievement Award by the Governmental Research Association. The association's highest honor recognizes significant work in research and leadership in public policy and government operations.

Yesterday, a group of FSU social work students and staff members volunteered with Second Harvest of the Big Bend! They spent a few hours inspecting and organizing donated food for distribution to local food pantries and community partners.

Second Harvest of the Big Bend works to fight hunger by providing food to individuals and families in 16 counties across North Florida.
