NYFW Spotlight⭐️

Two of our sisters, Olivia Samkavitz and LillyKate Powell worked backstage as Interns for Aknvas in NYC this fashion week! Hear from them below about how amazing this opportunity was:

“Interning with Aknvas for New York Fashion Week was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. I got to see firsthand the hard work, craftsmanship, and detail that goes into every single piece. From the fittings to the late nights to the final touches before the show, being behind the scenes in the days leading up to it was something I’ll never forget. It also pushed me to grow my communication skills, learning to stay clear and calm while working alongside such a talented team under pressure. This truly was the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am so thankful to all my sisters in Phi Mu for constantly supporting me along on my journey and cheering me on from near and far!“ - Olivia

“Getting to work backstage as a dresser for Aknvas during New York Fashion Week was such an amazing and unforgettable experience! I loved getting to see everything that goes on behind the scenes of a fashion show, and it was such an incredible opportunity to experience it alongside one of my sisters.
