Following a packed opening concert at MoFA, Beethoven2027@FSU continues with its second program, Shared Virtuosity, on Tuesday, October 6, at 7:30pm, in Opperman Music Hall, celebrating Beethoven’s vision of the duo as a partnership of equals. Featuring world-renowned collaborative artist Martin Katz,  Voice faculty Marcia Porter, Violin faculty Shannon Thomas, and FSU’s new piano faculty member Anna Dymentrenko, the program traces from Beethoven’s groundbreaking F-major cello sonata to the monumental Kreutzer Sonata, offering a glimpse of how Beethoven continually expands what two musicians can accomplish together. The concert also features the world premiere of the second “Letters to Beethoven” Commission by FSU composer Jacob Grice.
